The Family Legacy Solution™ – Do I Really Need A Financial Planner?

Ian King, Tuesday July 1, 2014

Following Gina’s post concerning what to expect at meetings with us, she now moves on to ask the question why you may need to work with a financial planner?

“We have looked at the process involved if you do decide that you want to meet with us, but you still might have some concerns about if you actually need a financial planner or not. I would now like to briefly discuss some of the considerations of if you actually need a financial planner or if you should simply ‘go it alone’.

Plans For The Future

Whether you need a financial planner or not can depend on a number of different issues, for example, what you would like to achieve for you and your family both now and in the future. The more complex your vision and plans for the future are, the more complex it will be to build a plan that meets your needs. You might think that you will be able to easily implement your vision for the future alone as you know exactly what you want to achieve and how best to achieve this. However, once you have fully explored all of your options you may discover that this is not the case.

Benefits

Whatever your vision for the future is there will always be clear benefits of having a financial planner. One of the most important benefits is that there will always be support available to you to discuss any concerns that you may have and to always have someone available to offer expert advice and reassurance through every stage of your financial plan. This will eradicate any worries that you have and to eliminate any mistakes from being made.

Seeking Guidance

There will always be some parts of your financial plan that you will be able to do yourself. However, if you decide that you would like to seek guidance with The Family Legacy SolutionTM, we will always be available to discuss everything that you would like to achieve, not only for yourself but also for all of the members of your family. Once we have identified all of your goals for the future we can then build the best possible plan to enable us to make your goals a reality. You will always be kept fully updated of building and implementing your plan and we can answer any questions that you may have.

Keeping On Track

You might think that once you have built your financial plan you may be able to handle everything from there on your own. However, as your situation and vision for the future or even legislation changes, your financial plan may also change. If you have a financial planner you will always be able to make sure that your financial plan is still on track and consider any changes that you may want or need to make.

The Family Legacy SolutionTM believes in creating lasting relationships with all of our clients and we will guide and support you through every stage of your financial plan, to ensure that your dreams become a reality. Your initial appointment is always free of charge and without obligation, so if you would like a chat with us to see if we can help you then we would love to hear from you.”
